An open letter from AIGA Raleigh opposing House Bill 2

In late March, our state politicians passed House Bill 2, which stands in direct opposition to everything AIGA Raleigh stands for. In June, we are welcoming 330 design leaders from across the country to Raleigh, NC for the AIGA National Leadership Retreat.

In advance of these creative leaders’ arrival, I’m proud to share an open letter from AIGA Raleigh. We are taking action on behalf of the creative community we serve, and look forward to inviting our guests at the AIGA Leadership Retreat to do the same. If you believe what we believe, add your name to the list of supporters by sharing it broadly. Add a personal note and mail it to your state representatives. Post it on social media with the hashtags #aigaraleigh and #wearethis. But most importantly, and in the spirit of our state motto “esse quam videri” (to be rather than to seem), take action. Make your voice heard.
