Volunteers power everything we do.

Did you know that the AIGA Raleigh chapter is run almost entirely by volunteers? From the board to the organizers of events and initiatives, to the friendly folks who greet you at AIGA functions—we’re all volunteers. Volunteering for the chapter is a great way to meet other designers, hone your leadership skills, and give back to our thriving community.

New members and volunteers are always welcome—no matter your creative background or experience. If you have a specific idea in mind or want to learn more, contact our board at volunteer@raleigh.aiga.org.

If you’re interested in volunteering but now sure how, here are a few open positions on our community board:

Blog writers

Our website and social channels are the main way we communicate with our community between events. We strive to share content that supports your design career and creative passions—as well as inspire community involvement. If you’re interesting in creating impactful content—on our blog or social media—contact Sarah Harrington at sarah.harrington@raleigh.aiga.org.

Our open positions reflect what we’re missing today. But what about what we need tomorrow? We’re always looking for new ideas that are reflective of what our community cares about. If your passionate about an idea and hungry to get it off the ground, let us know by signing up for our volunteer list.
