Monthly:
New to the area? New to AIGA? Interested in becoming a member? Ready to get involved? The monthly community meeting is a great place to get started and you don’t have to be a member to attend. There’s no better way to see what’s going on in the Triangle creative community, get involved, and participate in shaping the chapter’s growth.
Community meetings are held the first Wednesday of the month at 6:30pm. Location varies, so be sure to watch our social media channels as well as our website for full details on each month’s meeting. Please note we do not have a meeting in July, due to the July 4th holiday.
Quarterly:
Lunch and Learn series featuring local, ‘homegrown’ experts presenting on topics that will help designers add new skills to their toolbox.
Series of programming geared towards getting back to basics focusing on by-hand methods of creativity through workshops, speakers, and meet ups.
Special events that feature local and national experts to present inspiration stories, case studies, and workshops.
A series of events to get together and share our love of films. The program shares design-minded films and special events.
Annually:
Annual event providing senior design students a constructive, one-on-one evaluation of their work by local professionals.
A city-wide free event offering an inside look at the Triangle’s leading creative agencies. Tours alternate between Raleigh and Durham studios.
Mentor Program
The 2017 session of the Mentor Program will include both emerging designers and peer-to-peer relationships to give designers at each stage of their careers the opportunity for a mentor experience.
A program for creative entrepreneurs to give them the skills, confidence, and knowledge they need to start or enhance their freelance business.
