A few months back we asked for your participation in a survey to gauge interest in a year-long program about the basics of web design (a big thanks to all those who checked boxes). What did we do with those results you ask? We planned our latest program feature to be exactly where and when you wanted it to be… talk about democracy. Now, without further ado, we are very pleased to present Web101: web design for everyone, our newest event series.
In the only event of its kind in the area, eight experts will lead over 36 hours of workshops covering the basics of functional, well-designed websites. Topics in the monthly, year-long program include: web basics for designers, basic and intermediate HMTL & CSS, user experience design, tools for managing your content, and much more. Charles Mangin of Option8 will be your guide throughout the series, along with a new local experts who will teach new course material each month. At the end of the course, you will have designed a fully-functioning website. The pros are ready and waiting to share their knowledge. Are you ready to start building that great site you’ve been thinking about? By the end of the series, you will have built a fully functional, compliant website.
Visit the Web101 event page for more information and to enroll. Sign-up before March 8th to receive early bird pricing. We’ve had a terrific response thus far, and can’t wait to see you there.
Oh, and as for question six, our chapter has an overwhelming preference to savory over sweet—who knew? Design well and prosper folks.
