NC State & the Institute for Emerging Issues present “Investing in Gen Z”

If you were born after 1991 (and before last year) you’re a member of Generation Z. And if you’re not a part of that generation, you may be a parent to one of them, or a coworker, future boss, mentor, affected business owner, etc. The point is, Generation Z is going to affect your life and the future of North Carolina. Plus, when you learn about Gen Z’s impact, you’ll also learn about the role heightened connectivity and global awareness will play in our state.

That’s why N.C. State and the Institute for Emerging Issues is conducting a two-day forum called Investing in Gen Z, and featuring some of the world’s experts on the impact this young group will have. Investing in Gen Z includes speakers from our state, and idealist.org’s Executive Director Ami Dar, Venture for America Founder and President Andrew Yang, REI CEO Sally Jewell and Fast Company’s Robert Safian. They will cover topics like supporting Gen Z in the workplace, understanding Gen Z as “prosumers”, recruiting Gen Z through social networks, etc.
