Design for Good is a movement to ignite, accelerate and amplify design-driven social change. It is a platform to build and sustain the implementation of design thinking for social change. This platform creates opportunities for designers to build their practice, their network, and their visibility. Find out more about it here.

AIGA Raleigh is proud to become a part of this national initiative. We are currently considering ideas for Design for Good projects. If you have ideas, please share them with us at dfg@raleigh.aiga.org.

Triangle Wiki Project

For our first Design For Good project we are partnering with Triangle Wiki. Join the discussion in our Facebook Group. Want to get involved in this project? Send us an email at dfg@raleigh.aiga.org.

We had our first group meeting on January 12, 2013 to kickoff the Triangle Wiki Design for good project. You can find notes on the Triangle Wiki Design for Good project page. We’ll be posting out progress on the Triangle Wiki, so check back to follow the project or follow the discussion on our Facebook Group.

The Window Project

The Window Project is a challenge to effect positive social change in your immediate surroundings through creative thought. It’s meant to encourage everyone in the creative community to take a more active role in confronting the social needs of our neighborhoods.
