New members and volunteers are always welcome—no matter your creative background or experience. If you have a specific idea in mind or want to learn more, contact our board at volunteer@raleigh.aiga.org.

If you’re interested in volunteering but now sure how, here are a few open positions on our community board:

Mentor Program coordinators

The Mentor Program is one of our most successful initiatives. We need a few members of the community to kick start a third installment of the program through event planning, coordination and promotion. If you’re interested, email leadership@raleigh.aiga.org.

Student Portfolio Review coordinators

The Student Portfolio is annual event  for college seniors to receive feedback on their work from area professionals. As a volunteer, you will be able to network with fellow designers and professionals, build upon your skill set while giving back and making an impact in your design community. Email Amy Lyons at amy.lyons@raleigh.aiga.org for more information.

Blog writers

Our website and social channels are the main way we communicate with our community between events. We strive to share content that supports your design career and creative passions—as well as inspire community involvement. If you’re interesting in creating impactful content—on our blog or social media—contact Chelsea Brown at chelsea.brown@raleigh.aiga.org.
