AIGA Raleigh: Our Mission and Governance

AIGA Raleigh strives to create a place where designing thrives for everyone. We do this by focusing on design empowerment, proving design impact, and uniting people to build an open chapter.

The AIGA Raleigh Story (2011)

AIGA Raleigh celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2011, founded as the 8th chapter in the country in 1986. This film tells the story of the 2010 establishment of a new AIGA Raleigh Design Community, and how community volunteers established a shared purpose, a new identity, and a new way of working for the chapter.

The AIGA Raleigh Story: Community (2014)

Part two of the AIGA Raleigh Design Community story, set in 2014, focuses on the continuance of these efforts to bring our community together in our shared purpose of creating a place where design thrives.

Many more thanks to Mike Esser and Brian Crawford who lent their passion and time to producing this film.
