Homegrown: Print is Dead. Long Live Print!

AIGA Raleigh presents Print is Dead! Long Live Print!

An informative, visual and tactile presentation on the artisan print scene in Durham. Join Shed Letterpress, Brian Allen Artisan Printer, Supergraphic and joined and moderated by Lenny Terenzi of Hey Monkey! We are going to talk about why print is indeed NOT dead, why these artisan forms of printing are still viable and will never go out of style. Each printer will have samples to see and talk about the unique-ness of how they operate.

In this Homegrown you will learn:

- About Letterpress Printing
- About Screen Printing
- About Litho Printing
- How to work with and prepare files for each type of printing
- Why you want to look at these artisan forms of printing even in today's "get it done now" digital print world
- How you can sell using these forms of printing to those who hold the money in your company

You will leave with some visual inspiration and solid takeaways to hopefully take your next or future projects to a whole different place.

We are excited to be holding our first Durham Homegrown and are looking forward to holding it at the Blue Note Grill. There will be an extensive menu to choose from with vegetarian options as well.
