On your visit to LCI’s Durham headquarters, you will tour the 240,000 sq. ft manufacturing facility, seeing and learning how LCI enables people who are blind and visually impaired to have meaningful careers, while fueling a thriving business. The tour will conclude with a live demo by members of the LCI Tech team, who will show how they navigate digital content using screen reader and magnification software. You will get an opportunity to see first-hand the experience that blind and visually impaired users have when navigating websites and mobile applications. They will also highlight the accessibility testing process that they follow, when evaluating sites for Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
