Fragment, our new Web Firm in Residence

I’m pleased to announce to the wider creative community that Fragment is AIGA Raleigh’s new Web Firm in Residence.

Our new In Residence partnerships are team-ups between the chapter and a local firm or designer where we work toward completion of an AIGA Raleigh project that is defined with a set scope. The In Residence partnerships are designed to help highlight excellent design talent in the local creative community while also helping AIGA Raleigh move forward on the larger long-term goals of the chapter. I’m really glad we get to kick off this new way of working with such a cool inaugural partner, Fragment.

In case you don’t know them, Fragment is one of Raleigh’s most talented, most talked-about web design and application development companies, located downtown on Fayetteville Street. You may have stopped by their shop during our smash-success Studio Open House in Raleigh last February, or you may have heard about their innovative work on exciting projects like Rippple.

We’re honored that Fragment has offered to provide strategic thinking and assistance to our board as we develop improved web tools that will help us communicate with our audience more effectively. Led by our own Ethan Geyer, our team will be working with Fragment in the coming months to make improvements to our website and our web-based communication tools. I think you’ll really like what we have in store.

Check out Fragment online or in-person, enjoy their portfolio, and take a moment to let them know how much you appreciate their investment in your local design community.
