Urbanized Film Sceeening

Be a part of the AIGA Raleigh design community as we join with other creatives to view the Raleigh-Durham special screening of Urbanized.

‘Urbanized is a feature-length documentary about the design of cities, which looks at the issues and strategies behind urban design and features some of the world’s foremost architects, planners, policymakers, builders, and thinkers. ‘

Rialto Theater, in Downtown Raleigh, will be hosting the Raleigh-Durham special screening of Urbanized on Monday, November 7th to the community. Join director, Gary Hustwit, for a special preview screening and post film discussion. Tickets are on sale now and begin at $15 dollars for the general public and $13 dollars to Urbanized Kickstarter Backers, students, AIGA, IDSA and AIA members. The film is presented in association with ISDA Carolina and AIGA Raleigh, in conjunction with the Full Frame Documentary Film Festival.

‘Urbanized is the third part of Gary Hustwit’s design film trilogy, joining Helvetica and Objectified. Urbanized will premiere at film festivals later this year, followed by cinema screenings worldwide, television broadcasts, and release on DVD and digital formats.’
