Web101: Web Design for Everyone

Over the last few months we have asked for your participation in a survey to put a finger on the interest for a six-month, biweekly program about the basics of web design from planning to a finished website. Thank you to everyone who participated! We have gathered the results and are tailoring the course to be precisely when and where you want it to be! We are very proud to announce our latest edition of Web101: Web Design for Everyone, beginning Tuesday, August 26th, at Capstrat.

In this special local event, area experts will lead twelve workshops covering the basics of creating functional, well designed websites from the ground up. The program topics include web strategy, content and writing for the web, web basics for designers, user experience design, basic and intermediate HTML/CSS, and much more. In addition to the workshops, Charles Mangin of Option8 has once again taken the reins and will be your guide throughout the course. At the end of the course, you will have designed a fully-functioning, compliant website!

If you are interested in participating send us an email at web101@raleigh.aiga.org, and we will add you to the mailing list. You will be notified about everything Web101 and have the first chance to grab tickets once they become available. If you are ready to get your hands dirty and push those ideas out to the web, this is the class for you!
