A Few Good Volunteers

Interested in becoming more involved in AIGA Raleigh? We’re adding exciting new events to our 2011 – 2012 calendar and we need a few good volunteers to help out.  There are an endless number of ways for you to get involved — from working the door at events to helping decorate for our upcoming 25th anniversary celebration; from retweeting the latest AIGA news to designing a fabulous poster for our next event. Whether you have 30 seconds or 30 days, we have something for you.

What will you get in return? Not only is volunteering with AIGA Raleigh a great way to network with your peers, you’ll also get opportunities to learn new skills, make new friends, and find out about potential job opportunities all while being a part of thriving, design community.

We’re currently looking for the following:

  • assistant event producers for the Lunch & Learn series
  • contributors to the AIGA Raleigh blog
  • producer on the Adobe Dreamweaver event in January
  • LinkedIn moderators
  • designers, writers, and techies for the new Wiki & Information Architecture group

For a complete list of current possibilities please email our community organizer, Cindy Wilcox at cindy.wilcoxl@raleigh.aiga.org.
