The AIGA Cenntenial Juried Exhibition will be held at Designbox during SPARKcon this year. During this event we will need 1-2 volunteers per shift to represent AIGA by greeting visitors to the exhibition, answering questions and handing out informational pieces.

8 am – 9 am, Booth Set Up, Fayetteville St.
The festival starts at 9 am, we will need 1-2 volunteers pick up our booth necessities from location (tba) and set up our booth, make sure all of our signage, informational pieces and swag are ready to go.
9 am – 6 pm, AIGA Booth, Fayetteville St.
We will have a booth set up on Fayetteville St. for AIGA. We will need 2-3 volunteers per shift to “man the booth.” During this activity our volunteers will be talking about upcoming AIGA events, promoting AIGA membership, handing out AIGA informational pieces and swag, as well as helping out with the AIGA Interactive Activity when needed (will be located in close proximity with the AIGA Booth).

9 am – 5 pm, AIGA Activity, Fayetteville St.

“Here is the Who and What” | AIGA Interactive Personal Logo Design Workshop

Work with graphic designers in an interactive exhibit about capturing ideas and identity.  You will get a chance to develop your own logo with the help of local, talented graphic designers.  This event is Kid friendly, if children are 7 or above.

9 am – 6 pm, Interactive Memory Map, Fayetteville St.
This is an Interactive Map of the Triangle, designed by AIA (American Institute of Architechts) of the Triangle. They will have events that have happened in the Triangle labeled on the map, the community will be asked to add their own memories of those events to the map as well. Our AIGA Centennial Posters will be featured within this map. The posters depict events that have happened here in the Triangle, so this works out perfectly. We will need 1-2 volunteers per shift to be present at the Interactive Memory Map to answer questions and encourage visitors to stop by our exhibition at Designbox.

5:30 pm – 6:30 pm, Booth Breakdown, Fayetteville St.
We will need 1-2 people to break down our booth and make sure all of our signage, informational pieces and swag are gathered and dropped off at a location (tba) for pick up the next day.
